What Makes Our Githeri Special?

The Perfect Ratio: We use a traditional mix of soft, parboiled maize and protein-packed red kidney beans (or Wairimu beans), slow-simmered until tender yet firm to the bite.

The “Kienyeji” Touch: Our Githeri isn’t just boiled; it’s sautéed (fried) in a rich base of onions, garlic, and plenty of ripe tomatoes to create a light, savory gravy that coats every grain.
